Basic health insurance is compulsory in the Netherlands for every person living and/or working here.
Insurance companies also offer additional insurance packages including a dental package, allowing treatment under the policy.
Everyone has the opportunity to choose the insurance package that is right for them. Changing insurance companies or extending the basic package can be carried out until the end of December this year.
Before the first visit, the patient is given a registration form to fill in, which includes health and personal information.
The patient undertakes to report any change in his/her health and/or personal information.
Please inform the office if you are unable to attend your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Monday appointments must be cancelled by 5pm on Friday at the latest.
Otherwise, the office may issue a financial penalty of €50 for every 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment.
Patients without dental insurance and/or full personal details are required to pay on the spot at the office.
Patients with dental insurance receive bills from the settlement company, INFOMEDICS, which settles with your insurer and sends you a bill for any extra payment.
