  1. Adaptation visit – This is the first visit where your child will see what the office looks like, what the equipment is used for and sit in the chair to overcome their fear. This will make the next visit much less stressful for him/her.
  2. Greeting and discussing the procedure – At the start of the second visit, our dentist will greet the child, parent and discuss the procedure to ensure the child is comfortable and familiar with the visit.
  3. Oral examination – Our dentist will then thoroughly examine your child’s mouth, assessing the condition of the teeth, gums, tongue and cheeks.
  4. Teeth cleaning – If your child’s teeth need cleaning, our dentist will carry out a gentle and safe cleaning of the teeth and mouth.
  5. Taking X-rays – In some cases, our dentist may order X-rays to more accurately assess the condition of the teeth and bone.
  6. Treatment – If decay or other dental problems are diagnosed during the examination, our dentist will recommend appropriate treatment, which may include fillings, crowns, tooth extraction or other procedures.
  7. Education – At the end of the visit, our dentist will discuss tips with the parent and child on proper oral hygiene, nutrition and other important aspects of maintaining healthy teeth.
